TLCHI founder, president & CEO Gary L. Gregory takes pride in being a different kind of builder. Raised by a family of land developers and high-end builders, Mr. Gregory learned from some of the true masters of the home-building industry and has worn just about every hat in the home-building business from construction managing in the field, project coordination, complete office management, marketing, advertising, legal, & finance. Mr. Gregory's first job at his father's business in Detroit, Michigan was digging ditches with hand tools, so he knows the value of hard work. He also worked very closely with his father-in-law who was a high end luxury home builder of waterfront construction.
Today, Mr. Gregory schedules all the meetings with all the involved companies and permitting departments throughout the state and county. With Turning Leaf's engineers and surveyers, he also designs the infrastructure, utility layout, engineering, surveying, & platting, senior coordinating every step of the way. Hurdling the intricate equations that this side of the business brings to the table can be overwhelming. Fortunately, a very intelligent and respected engineer in the industry passed his knowledge on to Mr. Gregory. "I am truly blessed, and I am grateful for it everyday," says Mr. Gregory. "The internal construction of a home is what will enhance or deplete it as an investment. A great deal of discipline, perseverance, and sacrifice goes in to what I do with Turning Leaf, and I am ademant about exceeding standard engineering codes. " |
